Mustafa Kamal demands resignations from Sindh CM and Karachi Mayor after 72 deaths in Gul Plaza tragedy.
Karachi: (RightNow) Mustafa Kamal has demanded the resignation of the Sindh Chief Minister and Karachi Mayor following the Gul Plaza tragedy that claimed 72 lives. He stated that the agenda of the People’s Party is affected by his demand for their resignation.
In an interview, Mustafa Kamal expressed that the issue of his resignation is a concern for the People’s Party. He mentioned that his presence in Karachi could create further challenges for the People’s Party.
Mustafa Kamal remarked that if he spends more time in Karachi, the People’s Party might wish for his return. He noted that no resignation has been tendered even after the Gul Plaza incident.
He mentioned that the Prime Minister has formed a committee to investigate the PIMS incident, which will soon present its report. The recommendations of the committee will be implemented.
It is noteworthy that Mustafa Kamal avoided giving a clear response regarding his resignation in a Geo News program. The matter of his resignation was also presented to the Prime Minister.
