Karachi: (RightNow) A video of an altercation between two women in Defence, Chhota Bukhari, has gone viral, prompting DIG South Asad Raza to initiate an inquiry. The decision was made after the video gained significant attention on social media.

DIG South stated that a thorough investigation into the reasons and facts of the case will be conducted. SSP Investigation South, Tauheed Rehman, will lead the inquiry into the matter.

According to the investigative police, the case charge sheet has not yet been submitted, and charges of snatching and theft have been dropped. Police have stated that if bias is found, action will be taken against those responsible.

Sources indicate that a plainclothes officer seen in the CCTV footage is allegedly from Korangi police. During the inquiry, questioning of the police officers appearing in the footage will also take place.

It is noteworthy that another video of the women’s altercation has surfaced, showing Noor-ul-Ain injured, with blood reportedly coming from her nose and mouth.
