Skardu: (RightNow) An avalanche on Broad Peak has resulted in the recovery of 4 climbers’ bodies out of 10. The incident occurred on the world’s 12th highest peak, where climbers were buried.

Base camp sources report that another climber’s body has been found. So far, 4 bodies have been recovered, while the search for 6 climbers continues.

The team includes Pakistani climber Suhail Sakhi from Hunza, Omani climber Nazeera, American climber Mallory Gass, and Chinese climber Mr. Wang.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, an avalanche on Broad Peak left 10 climbers, including Nims Dai and Suhail Sakhi, missing.

The Alpine Club of Pakistan confirmed that the avalanche occurred on Thursday afternoon. Five Nepali climbers were also part of the affected team.
