Islamabad: (Right Now News) The government has increased the petroleum levy on petrol by 9.64 rupees per liter. With this increase, the levy rate on petrol has reached 80 rupees per liter.

Officials have stated that the levy increase may cause further difficulties for the public. The government has set the petrol price at 310.71 rupees and diesel at 323.30 rupees.
This move is likely to affect the national economy, as the rise in petroleum product prices could lead to increased inflation.
It should be noted that the government has today increased the petrol price by 13.18 rupees per liter and diesel by 13.80 rupees per liter.
