Lahore: (RightNow) A passenger was arrested at Allama Iqbal International Airport for using a fake ticket to access the international departure lounge. The passenger, identified as Abdullah, was attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia.

According to airport sources, Abdullah had a counterfeit ticket for Saudi Arabia, which allowed him to enter the departure lounge. Airport Security Force noticed suspicious behavior and apprehended Abdullah.

The security force handed the passenger over to the police for legal proceedings. Police have filed a request to register a case against Abdullah at Sarwar Road Police Station.

Following the incident, the Airport Security Force and the concerned airline have tightened security measures. This step aims to prevent similar incidents in the future.

It is noteworthy that there have been previous attempts to travel using fake tickets, prompting security agencies to remain vigilant.
