Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, states that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intends to protest in Islamabad on September 27. The government has decided on potential actions to ensure the safety of citizens and the capital.

According to Rana Sanaullah, PTI has not yet reached any agreement with Islamabad’s administration regarding the protest. No administrative consensus has emerged from PTI for the September 27 protest.

He further mentioned that if any political party attempts to disrupt the system with armed groups, the state will take action. Allowing PTI to enter Islamabad would mean risking the city’s security.

It is clear that PTI has announced a protest and march on September 27, mobilizing its workers. The government has expressed concerns about law and order during this march and has called for additional police forces.

Recently, tensions escalated when the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa termed police action against him in Lahore as abduction. In Punjab, gatherings have been banned under Section 144.
