Islamabad: (RightNow) Weekly inflation in Pakistan has increased by 0.49%. The Bureau of Statistics has released a report on the rise in weekly inflation.

According to the report, prices of 19 items have increased while prices of 9 items have decreased. Diesel prices have risen by 7.29% and petrol by 6.40%.

The recent report indicates that LPG prices have increased by 3.26%. Prices of onions and tomatoes have decreased, while eggs and garlic have become more expensive.

Experts state that rising inflation is affecting the purchasing power of the public, increasing pressure on household budgets.

It is noteworthy that on an annual basis, onion prices have increased by 117.77%, while sugar and potato prices have decreased.
