Islamabad: (RightNow) Newly appointed Federal Health Secretary Captain (Retd) Muhammad Mahmood has set up a camp office at PIMS. He established a temporary office outside the hospital’s admin block using a tent.

Muhammad Mahmood summoned the heads of all PIMS departments to the camp office. He stated that if he can sit in the lawn to hear complaints, doctors and administration can do the same. He intends to manage all health ministry affairs from this camp office.

The Health Secretary told Sama that he also visited the site of Polyclinic II in Sector G-13. He admitted limited knowledge of health matters but emphasized his administrative expertise.

This move is significant for introducing new reforms in the health sector. The camp office at PIMS is expected to improve administrative affairs.

It is noteworthy that these steps are being taken to enhance medical facilities and administrative matters at PIMS. Expectations for reforms were already present before Muhammad Mahmood’s appointment.
