The All Pakistan Goods Transport Owners Association rejects diesel price hike, urging government to implement a written agreement.
Islamabad: (RightNow). The All Pakistan Goods Transport Owners Association has rejected the diesel price hike. The association demands immediate implementation of a written agreement from the government.
Association President Owais Chaudhry states that increasing diesel prices is unacceptable. He urges the government to fulfill its written promise. The agreement specifies price changes every 15 days.
Owais Chaudhry mentions that daily price fluctuations make fare adjustments difficult. Transporters face issues due to diesel price changes the next day.
He further adds that the current system is causing difficulties for transporters. The government needs to implement the agreed-upon contract immediately.
It is noteworthy that continuous diesel price increases are causing financial difficulties for transporters and reducing their profits.
