Islamabad: (RightNow) Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been declared healthy after a medical checkup at Shifa Hospital and returned to Adiala Jail. Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar stated that Khan was taken to the hospital under Supreme Court orders.

Atta Tarar mentioned on social media that a team of specialist doctors, including ophthalmologists and cardiologists, conducted Khan’s examination. His sister Uzma Khan was also present during the checkup.

Imran Khan was transferred back to jail in the morning hours with strict security arrangements in place.

It is important to note that the Supreme Court had ordered Khan’s transfer from jail to the hospital, and the Registrar’s Office dismissed a petition against this decision.

Previously, Khan’s sisters and medical team were present outside Adiala Jail, where they were allowed inside. Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar stated that the Islamabad administration was handling the matter.
