Islamabad: (RightNow). Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry states the government is bound by the court’s order for Imran Khan’s treatment. He clarified that if treatment is not possible in a government hospital, Imran Khan will be sent to Shifa International Hospital.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry further mentioned that if necessary, Imran Khan could be sent abroad. He noted that the Supreme Court Registrar’s Office had objected to the incomplete paper books submitted with the application.

Speaking in the Senate, he said the Supreme Court’s decision will be implemented fully. Clarification was sought from the Supreme Court to determine if the decision applies only to one prisoner or all prisoners.

It is clear that the government has only a few hours left to comply with the court order regarding Imran Khan’s hospital transfer. PTI has prepared to initiate contempt of court proceedings.

It should be noted that the Supreme Court had returned the review petition against the order for Imran Khan’s hospital transfer due to objections. Sources indicate that a new petition is likely to be filed today after addressing the objections.
