Beijing: (RightNow) A Chinese company, Unitree Robotics, has broken Usain Bolt’s speed record with its new humanoid robot ‘Superman’. The robot demonstrated a speed of 12.66 meters per second, approximately 45.6 kilometers per hour.

According to Unitree Robotics, the Superman robot also jumped 2 meters high and was developed in three months. A video on social media shows the robot crashing into an electrical box due to its speed.

The viral video on social media has sparked comments about the robot’s braking and balance issues. Some users suggested that control systems for high-speed robots should be robust.

Unitree stated that Superman is currently a prototype and its development is not yet complete. This incident highlights the importance of balancing speed and control in the world of robotics.
