Petroleum Prices Stable for 3 Days, Dealers’ Margin Increased

Petroleum prices remain stable for 3 days as dealers’ margin rises by Rs 1.34, postponing the strike.

Islamabad: (RightNow) The decision has been made to maintain petroleum product prices for three days. Dealers’ margin has been increased by Rs 1.34 per liter.

The price of petrol is Rs 325.43 per liter, and high-speed diesel is Rs 383.95 per liter. The Economic Coordination Committee has approved the increase in dealers’ margin.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb attended the meeting, where the revision of dealers’ margin was approved. Following the government’s decision, petroleum dealers have postponed the strike.

The total margin for dealers is now Rs 10 per liter. The Petroleum Dealers Association has announced the formation of a joint committee to discuss the demand for an 8% margin.

It is noteworthy that petroleum dealers had announced a strike demanding an increase in margin. Now, with the government’s assurance, they have postponed the strike.
