Karachi: (RightNow) Banks and financial institutions will remain closed for three days this week. Bank holidays are scheduled for August 14, 15, and 16.

According to a circular from the State Bank, the State Bank, stock exchange, and banks will be closed in observance of Independence Day. August 14 is a public holiday, while Saturday and Sunday are regular holidays.

The State Bank has stated that ATMs and online services will remain operational. These services will continue for customer convenience.

Despite the banking system holidays, the availability of ATMs and online services is crucial. These services ensure the smooth flow of financial transactions.

It is noteworthy that every year on August 14, a nationwide holiday is observed for Independence Day. On this occasion, government offices and financial institutions remain closed.
