Pakistan’s IT exports hit $417 million in July 2026, with potential to reach $5 billion by fiscal year-end.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan’s IT exports have reached a new all-time high. The State Bank has released figures for information technology exports.
According to the report, in July 2026, Pakistan exported IT services worth $417 million. This marks an 18% annual increase and a $10 million monthly rise in IT exports.
The central bank states that during the reviewed period, the monthly IT export consistently exceeded $400 million.
Economic experts suggest that by the end of the current fiscal year, Pakistan’s IT exports could surpass the $5 billion mark. In the previous fiscal year, Pakistan achieved nearly $5 billion in IT exports.
It is noteworthy that in the fiscal year 2025-26, freelancers set a record with nearly $2 billion in IT exports.
