Karachi: (RightNow) Significant progress has been made in the Mir Raza murder case. Following the exhumation and post-mortem report, the kidnapping case has been converted to murder.

Initially, the kidnapping case was registered at Ferozabad Police Station under charge number 795/20. Now, Section 302 for murder has been added to the FIR.

Police officials state that the murder charges were included based on the exhumation and preliminary post-mortem report.

A new investigative team has been formed to probe the Mir Raza murder. This team will re-investigate the crime scene, relatives, and other individuals involved.

It is noteworthy that Mir Raza was a young businessman, and evidence of murder emerged following his kidnapping.
