Beirut: (RightNow) Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem criticizes Lebanon-Israel talks, calling them a source of embarrassment and humiliation for Lebanon. He believes these talks will bring nothing but compromise for Lebanon.

Hezbollah’s leader made this statement ahead of the Lebanon-Israel talks in Rome. He warned that these negotiations could be against Lebanon’s interests.

Naim Qassem stated that Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun played a partisan role instead of fostering national unity. He claimed this stance is against Lebanon’s strength.

He further mentioned that Iran has achieved success against the US and Israel. According to him, Iran has emerged as a global power.

It is noteworthy that Iran included Lebanon-related matters in the first clause of the agreement. Hezbollah believes more successes will be achieved under Iran’s leadership.
