Rawalpindi: (RightNow). The election for 3 seats of Kashmir refugees is set. A total of 35 candidates, including 4 women, are contesting.

There are 27,907 voters, with 14,917 men and 12,990 women. Out of 175 polling stations, 31 are marked sensitive, and entry for unauthorized persons is restricted.

Polling will take place on Sunday, August 2, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Setting up camps and chanting slogans within 500 meters of polling stations is prohibited.

Candidates from PML-N, PPP, Istehkam Party, and Jamaat-e-Islami are participating. Four thousand police officers have been deployed.

It is noteworthy that Valley 4 has the fewest votes at 3,346, while Jammu 6 has 20,807 votes. These elections are being held under strict security arrangements.
