Peshawar: (RightNow) A major fake arms license scandal has emerged in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Criminals, with the collusion of government employees, were creating and selling licenses at high prices.

Details reveal that the suspects, in collaboration with government employees, were making licenses priced between 80,000 and 250,000 rupees. These licenses were being produced at home and sold at exorbitant rates.

Police have registered a case, arrested 2 individuals, and initiated investigations. It has been revealed that an official from the Home Department’s license branch is involved in the fake license scandal.

During further investigations, police recovered laptops, printers, ink bottles, 700 cards, and other items from the suspects. A letter has been sent to the Home Department for further investigation.

It is noteworthy that sources from the Home Department indicate a committee will be formed to investigate the incident. CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed stated that action will be taken against those involved after the investigation, and no official will be spared.
