Islamabad: (RightNow). The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a maintenance schedule for upgrading its key digital systems. Several online services will be suspended for more than two days.

According to FBR, the maintenance will begin on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 12:30 AM and continue until Monday, August 10, 2026, at 5:00 AM. In total, major platforms will be offline for 52 hours and 30 minutes.

During this period, IRIS, digital invoicing, payment systems, and other online facilities will be unavailable. FBR stated that taxpayers will not be able to use these services.

FBR has advised taxpayers to complete all necessary tasks before the maintenance to avoid inconvenience or delays. Tax returns, payments, and registration processes should be completed on time.

It is important to note that FBR has assured that services will be restored immediately after maintenance and apologized for any potential inconvenience.
