Islamabad: (RightNow) Daily increases in petroleum product prices have led to petrol becoming Rs 20.81 and diesel Rs 55.36 per liter more expensive.

The Petroleum Division raised petrol prices by Rs 5.44 and diesel by Rs 31.05 per liter starting July 18.

On July 21, petrol prices decreased by Rs 0.35, while diesel prices increased by Rs 5.71 per liter.

The Petroleum Minister stated that price fluctuations will impact the public, and action will be taken against profiteering.

It is noteworthy that on July 17, the cabinet authorized OGRA to set prices daily based on the global market.
