Islamabad: (Right Now News) President of Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance, Malik Shehzad Awan, has announced a 40% reduction in goods transport fares.

Malik Shehzad Awan stated that they welcome the Prime Minister’s decision to reduce petroleum product prices and hope for further reductions.

He urged the government to provide relief on toll taxes, withholding taxes, and unnecessary fines by motorway and traffic police.

Considering the country’s delicate situation and petroleum prices, federal and provincial governments have been requested to offer tax relief.

It is noteworthy that after the reduction in petroleum prices, there was an increasing demand for fare reduction, which the government has addressed.
