Islamabad: (Right Now News) The Prime Minister has announced a significant reduction in petroleum product prices. The Petroleum Division has issued a notification regarding this.

The price of petrol has been reduced by 11.83 rupees per liter, setting the new price at 366.58 rupees. The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by 134.81 rupees per liter, with the new price set at 385.54 rupees.

According to the government, the new prices will take effect from midnight and will remain effective for one week. Authorities have advised the public to benefit from this change.

This move is an important step towards providing relief to the public, as the reduction in petroleum product prices could help decrease inflation.

It is noteworthy that in recent months, the increase in petroleum product prices in the global market had put pressure on the national economy.
