Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistani leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed has secured the top position in the ICC T20 bowlers ranking. This is the first time Abrar Ahmed has reached this honor.

Abrar Ahmed becomes the fifth Pakistani bowler to achieve the number one position in T20 bowling rankings. Previously, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Imad Wasim, and Shahid Afridi have achieved this honor.

Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan has moved to second place by a margin of one rating point, having held the top position for the past six months.

Mohammad Nawaz is in eighth position for Pakistan, while Salman Mirza has dropped to nineteenth place after a one-rank decline.
