Islamabad: (RightNow) Following the announcement of PTI’s long march, Islamabad police have completed preparations. The federal police have compiled a list of necessary equipment to block the city’s entry points.

According to police, 210 containers and over 2 lakh sandbags have been ordered to close the city’s entry points. These measures are being taken to manage the protesters.

Additionally, the police have arranged for 1 lakh 10 thousand tear gas shells. There are already 1300 guns available for firing tear gas shells, and an order for 500 more guns has been placed.

Islamabad police have 22 cranes available for installing the containers. Security in the Red Zone and Extended Red Zone is already on high alert.

It is noteworthy that additional police forces from other provinces have also arrived in Islamabad in anticipation of the long march. These measures are being taken to ensure the city’s security.
