Karachi: (RightNow) Gold prices in Pakistan have recorded a significant drop for the second consecutive day. The price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 1,800, reaching Rs 455,736.

The decline in gold prices in Pakistan is attributed to the decrease in international market prices. Internationally, the price of gold per ounce has fallen by $18, now standing at $4,332.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of gold has also decreased by Rs 1,543, now priced at Rs 390,720.

Throughout this month, gold prices have fluctuated, with a notable drop of Rs 2,700 per tola recorded on Monday.

It is important to note that gold is considered a safe investment, especially during economic instability. It has been used as a form of currency and wealth for centuries.
