New York: (RightNow) Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a visa-free agreement for special passports. The agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.

Ishaq Dar expressed hope that this step will facilitate high-level contacts and institutional exchanges. The agreement will also support the advancement of the fraternal strategic partnership.

During the United Nations General Assembly session, Ishaq Dar also met with European Union representative Kaja Kallas. They discussed matters of mutual interest.

The meeting focused on partnership, trade, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union. Both parties emphasized ensuring full implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have historically strong relations, and this agreement symbolizes further close cooperation.
