Quetta: (RightNow) Two prisoners were allegedly released from Zhob Central Jail on fake court orders. An investigation against the jail administration has commenced.

Sources reveal that the prisoners were Abdul Salam from Naseerabad and Amanullah from Kuchlak Quetta. Both were serving 25-year sentences for drug-related offenses.

The alleged fake court orders were issued on May 30, 2025, leading to the prisoners’ release.

A case has been registered under the new Superintendent of Zhob Jail. The former superintendent and other officials have been suspended.
