Islamabad: (RightNow) The Supreme Court states that the Constitutional Court will be limited to interpreting the Constitution. All other matters will fall under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.

During the hearing of Imran Khan’s hospital transfer case, a three-member bench led by Justice Shahid Waheed heard the case. The Additional Attorney General mentioned that the Federal Constitutional Court has taken the case from the Supreme Court.

Justice Shahid Waheed remarked that the Constitutional Court cannot interfere in matters of Quran and Sunnah. The Attorney General stated that he would assist on the point of judicial jurisdiction.

It is important to note that the Supreme Court had ordered the transfer of Imran Khan to a private hospital in Islamabad. Due to security reasons, the government transferred him to PIMS Hospital.

Remember that the Federal Constitutional Court has requested the records of Imran Khan’s case along with other cases. The court has raised significant questions regarding prisoners’ rights.
