Sources indicate the lockdown may involve a 4-day workweek for public and private offices. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday could be off, with a rotation system for government employees under consideration.

The Lahore Traders Association has rejected the potential smart lockdown decision. Business leaders have warned the federal government about potential business losses.

It is noteworthy that the government has announced an increase in petrol prices. Petrol has reached Rs 380.24 per liter, while global crude oil prices continue to rise.
