Islamabad: (RightNow) Federal Minister Shaza Fatima conducted a late-night visit to various petrol pumps in Islamabad. She reviewed issues under the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme and inquired about the registration process from citizens.

Shaza Fatima provided awareness on correct registration and asked about challenges in obtaining fuel relief. She emphasized that registration should be done only once, with no need for repetition.

Petrol prices have increased by Rs 4.42 and diesel by Rs 6.10 per liter, as per the issued notification. The federal minister assured that registered citizens will receive uninterrupted discounts.

Shaza Fatima stated that strict monitoring will be enforced against those delaying or refusing to provide discounted petrol. She instructed the administration to ensure eligible citizens receive the relief.

It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme aims to provide relief to the public through reduced petrol prices. This scheme is part of the government’s ongoing economic measures.
