Islamabad: (RightNow) An anti-terrorism court orders the blocking of passports for 24 PTI members, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. The decision is based on allegations of attacks on state institutions and promoting terrorism.

The court has ordered the blocking of passports for Asad Qaiser, Shahram Tarakai, Shah Ahad, and other members. The court states that the accused might evade legal proceedings.

Passports for Junaid Akbar, Shahid Khattak, Zubair Wazir, and others are also ordered to be blocked. The court notes the accused have failed to appear in court.

This decision follows a case filed by Kohsar police station. The FIA is instructed to block the passports of the accused.

It is noteworthy that the accused face serious charges of attacking state institutions, and the investigating officer requested the court due to their absence.
