Quetta: (RightNow) A significant rise in flour prices has been observed in the country. Over the past week, the price of a 20 kg flour bag increased by Rs 400, rising from Rs 2800 to Rs 3200.

According to shopkeepers, a 50 kg flour sack also became Rs 1000 more expensive, now costing Rs 8000. This increase is adding to the inflation burden on residents.

Authorities state that the continuous rise in petrol and diesel prices has led to the increase in flour prices. The impact of inflation on citizens is now evident.

This situation is causing further difficulties for the low-income group, who are already affected by inflation.

It is noteworthy that after the increase in petroleum product prices, the prices of various goods have also risen in the country.
