Quetta: (RightNow) The Balochistan government has announced a general relaxation in the age limit for government jobs, setting the new upper limit at 43 years.

According to the notification, general candidates, disabled individuals, and legal heirs of martyrs are granted an age limit of 43 years, while employees with 2 years of continuous government service have an age limit of 50 years.

This relaxation does not apply to positions with a maximum age limit below 43 years. A spokesperson for the Balochistan government stated that no further age relaxation will be provided.

The new age relaxation will be effective for three years from the date of notification. This move is significant for those facing difficulties due to age restrictions in securing government jobs.

It is noteworthy that the Balochistan government has previously provided age limit relaxations for jobs to offer more employment opportunities to a larger number of individuals.
