Lahore: (RightNow) Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology. This hospital is Pakistan’s first cardiac heart transplant center.

The hospital, spread over 50 kanals, will provide free heart transplant services to patients. It has a capacity of 250 beds.

The hospital was constructed over three years at a cost of 16 billion rupees. It offers advanced medical facilities for heart patients.

It is clear that the establishment of the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology will reduce pressure on the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. It will provide timely treatment to patients.

Remember that the Information Minister has stated that heart transplant treatment will be 100% free. This initiative is crucial due to the reduced capacity at PIC in Lahore.
