PIMS Hospital’s Mother and Child Healthcare Center budget increased to Rs 1.06 billion for 2026-27.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Details of the PIMS Hospital Mother and Child Healthcare Center’s budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 have been revealed. The new budget is Rs 1.06 billion, compared to last year’s Rs 856 million.
According to documents, Rs 11 million is allocated for repairs and maintenance. The budget for machinery and equipment is Rs 7 million, while Rs 4 million is allocated for the building.
Salaries for employees are allocated Rs 356.9 million. Officers’ salaries receive Rs 200 million, and other staff is allocated Rs 156.5 million.
Allowances are allocated Rs 332.7 million, and operating expenses are set at Rs 270 million. Pensions for retired employees are allocated Rs 6 million, scholarships Rs 8.5 million, and store stock Rs 6 million.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed regret over the recent fire incident at PIMS and ordered an immediate investigation, expressing displeasure with the concerned officials.
