Karachi: (RightNow) Federal Minister Mustafa Kamal states that 80% of Sindh’s population is forced to drink contaminated water. He further mentions that this situation is causing 80% of diseases to spread.

During an event in Karachi, he highlighted the lack of basic clean drinking water facilities in the province. Mustafa Kamal emphasized the importance of healthcare and the need to alleviate patients’ suffering.

The Federal Minister stated that it is the medical staff’s responsibility to reduce patients’ suffering, for which they will be rewarded by God. He added that the lack of treatment facilities could lead to God’s displeasure.

He also revealed that there was a risk of encroachment where a secondary hospital is being built. Now, this site will provide health facilities to the public.

It is noteworthy that due to the lack of basic facilities in Sindh, there is a call for administrative units. Mustafa Kamal mentioned that new units could improve management.
