Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised US President Donald Trump’s support for the Makkah Defense Pact. He commended President Trump’s bold leadership, stating that the agreement is crucial for sustainable peace in the region.

The Prime Minister expressed on social media platform X that President Trump played a vital role in averting nuclear disaster in South Asia. He further stated that the Makkah Defense Pact will ensure the defense of the three nations.

He mentioned that by joining forces with Saudi Arabia and Turkey, the region’s defense will be strengthened. This agreement is part of efforts to ensure lasting peace in the region.

US President Donald Trump also welcomed the Makkah Defense Pact. He praised the leadership of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, calling it a significant and important step.

It is noteworthy that a joint defense agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan was finalized in Makkah on August 7. Under the agreement, an attack on one is considered an attack on all three nations.
