Islamabad: (RightNow). Eight Muslim countries, including Pakistan, have reacted strongly to Israel’s rejection of U.S. President Donald Trump’s comprehensive Gaza plan. These nations consider Israel’s stance a hindrance to peace efforts.

Foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE issued a joint statement. They labeled Israel’s action as a refusal to implement Trump’s Gaza roadmap, which they deem crucial for promoting peace in Gaza.

The joint statement outlines the roadmap’s key points, such as the withdrawal of Israeli forces and the deployment of an international stabilization force. The eight countries have urged the U.S. to compel Israel to adhere to the plan.

The statement warns that Israel will be held accountable for any consequences arising from its refusal or delay. They emphasized the importance of establishing an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders.

It is noteworthy that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu recently rejected the U.S. President’s 15-point Gaza plan, stating that Israeli troop withdrawal is contingent on Hamas’s complete disarmament.
