Karachi: (RightNow). Mir Reza’s lawyer, Jibran Nasir, announced that the government has deferred the formation of a judicial commission. He welcomed the creation of a new investigative team, stating that Mir Reza’s case is not a suicide but a murder.

Jibran Nasir mentioned that they had requested a team of officers with good reputations and currently, a judicial inquiry is not needed. A letter has been sent to the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court to inform them of the stance. He expressed full confidence in the judiciary, emphasizing that investigation is a constitutional duty of the police.

He further added that the new investigative team has thoroughly noted the parents’ information and concerns. The direction of the investigation will become clear in the next 3 to 4 days. The police have been informed of all suspects and key points.

Reports of DNA and other forensic samples not reaching the lab are concerning. Jibran Nasir stated that if there is a delay in forensic samples, the responsible officers will have to answer. Severe consequences could follow if negligence is proven.

It is noteworthy that Mir Reza’s father expressed some satisfaction with today’s developments. The case has entered a crucial phase, and there is hope that justice will be served for his son. The new investigative team is being given a full opportunity, and results may emerge in the next 3 to 4 days.
