OGRA has issued a notification for increased petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, effective July 24.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification for the revised petroleum prices under the federal government’s new pricing system. The new prices will be effective from July 24.
According to the notification, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 3.62 per liter. The new price is set at Rs 378.66 per liter, up from the previous Rs 375.04.
The price of motor spirit (petrol) has been raised by Rs 4.40 per liter. The new price is Rs 331.52 per liter, compared to the previous Rs 327.12.
Officials state that the new prices are determined under the federal government’s revised petroleum pricing mechanism. OGRA has officially released the notification regarding this.
It is noteworthy that the federal government recently introduced a new system for determining petroleum product prices, which allows for more frequent announcements and implementation of new prices from the specified date.
