Karachi: (RightNow) A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Karachi’s Quaidabad area. DNA from three individuals was found on the child’s clothing.

Initially, police collected DNA samples from 14 individuals, later expanding to more. The DNA report suggests the involvement of three individuals in the child’s murder.

According to police, suspicion falls on the child’s aunt and some relatives. The aunt allegedly kept the body in a room after the murder. The suspects did not have the opportunity to dispose of the body, leaving it outside the house.

This incident raises serious questions about child protection in Karachi. Police are continuing investigations to apprehend other potential suspects.
