Lahore: (RightNow) The Lahore High Court has dismissed national cricketer Mohammad Rizwan’s petition against NCCIA notices. These notices were issued to Rizwan over allegations of online betting.

Mohammad Rizwan had declared the notices from NCCIA as illegal, arguing they were beyond jurisdiction. His lawyer referenced ICC for corruption investigations.

Chief Justice Alia Neelum presided over the case, expressing displeasure at Rizwan’s lawyer’s preparation. The court instructed Rizwan to respond to the NCCIA notices.

The issue began when a government agency investigated Rizwan during the England series. His mobile phone was also seized.

It is noteworthy that NCCIA summoned Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq for information leak investigations, including inquiries about their mobile phones.
