Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan’s trade surplus with the US has reached $480 million. According to the Ministry of Commerce, Pakistani exports to the US amounted to $1.17 billion in the first two months of the fiscal year.

Sources from the Ministry of Commerce reported that during the same period, Pakistan imported goods worth $690 million from the US. In July and August 2026, Pakistan’s exports increased by 10.46%.

According to sources, the US trade deficit with Pakistan stood at $480 million. Imports from the US to Pakistan saw a 144% increase.

The increase in trade surplus will have a positive impact on the national economy. In the fiscal year 2025-26, Pakistan’s trade surplus with the US was $2.59 billion.

It is noteworthy that in the fiscal year 2025-26, Pakistan’s exports to the US were $5.91 billion, while imports from the US were $3.32 billion.
