Elon Musk and Sam Altman agree with Anthropic CEO on AI’s rapid development risks.
New York: (RightNow) Elon Musk, head of X AI, and Sam Altman, head of OpenAI, have endorsed the statement by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei. They stated that the rapid development of artificial intelligence could prove dangerous.
Elon Musk has said that Amodei’s statement is correct, as he has long warned about AI risks. According to Musk, caution is needed in the development of artificial intelligence.
Sam Altman also agreed with Amodei, stating that AI’s pace should be advanced appropriately. He further mentioned that the results of rapid development could be hazardous.
Amodei has warned that the rapid development of AI could lead to internet hijacking within 6 to 12 months. He has expressed concerns about potential losses worth trillions of dollars on the internet.
It is noteworthy that Amodei’s company, Anthropic, develops the AI chatbot Claude. He has suggested that the industry should allow external testers access to check safety protocols.
