Forbes’ latest list places Elon Musk at the top, with his wealth increasing by $202 billion in August 2026.
New York: (RightNow) Forbes has released a new list of the world’s 10 richest individuals. Significant changes were observed in this list during August 2026.
As of September 1, 2026, the total wealth of these individuals was recorded at $2.8 trillion. Last month, this amount was $2.6 trillion, indicating an increase of $200 billion.
According to the list, 9 out of the 10 individuals are American, while one is Spain’s Amancio Ortega. Half of these 10 men have a wealth of $200 billion or more.
Elon Musk’s wealth increased by $202 billion due to shares in SpaceX and Tesla, bringing his total wealth to $892 billion.
It is noteworthy that Forbes has been reviewing the wealth of billionaires since 1987. This list includes 3,428 billionaires from around the world.
