New York: (RightNow) Elon Musk reveals he was aware of potential AI dangers years ago. He contributed to Nick Bostrom’s 2014 book ‘Superintelligence,’ where his name is mentioned in the foreword.
Musk states he was contemplating AI safety even before 2014. He expressed his concerns on the social media platform X.
In an old post, Musk recommended reading Bostrom’s book and labeled AI more dangerous than nuclear weapons.
Musk’s recent statement coincides with Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s call to slow down the development of advanced AI models.
