Islamabad: (RightNow) A new directive has been issued for travelers from Pakistan going abroad. From September 14, 2026, a NADRA vaccination certificate will be mandatory.

According to the Airport Health Department, after September 14, international travel will not be permitted without a NADRA vaccination record. This record is mandatory for polio, meningitis, yellow fever, and influenza.

The announcement specifies that travelers must get vaccinated at the federal government’s civil dispensary. Obtaining a NADRA digital vaccination card before departure is essential.

Umrah pilgrims are specifically instructed to acquire the NADRA vaccination card before traveling. Airlines are directed to verify the certificate.

It is noteworthy that vaccination and NADRA certificate issuance facilities will also be available at the airport. PIA has also issued a new directive.
