Karachi: (RightNow) Sindh government spokesperson Saadia Javed states no claim was made about zero crime rate in Karachi. She mentioned that the government is taking measures against crime.

Saadia Javed revealed on a private TV program that crime rates decreased from January to August. She noted a slight increase in September, possibly due to police negligence.

She reported that suspects involved in robbing a citizen outside a bank in Clifton have been arrested. Saadia Javed added that the government continues efforts to curb crime.

The Sindh government spokesperson announced that the Interior Minister of Sindh has called a meeting with police officers to address crime prevention. The meeting will also review police performance.

It is noteworthy that despite a reduction in crime rates, Karachi citizens still face various crimes. The government has yet to fully control the crime situation.
