Karachi: (RightNow) A significant increase in gold prices has been recorded nationwide. The price of gold per tola has risen by Rs 800.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, after the increase, the price of gold per tola has reached Rs 462,936. The price of 10 grams of gold has also increased by Rs 686, reaching Rs 396,893.

The association further stated that the global market has seen an increase of $8 in gold prices. The international price of gold is now $4,404 per ounce.

The rise in gold prices could impact the country’s economy. The change in gold prices is also causing a stir in the jewelry market.
